Jacqui Marquis-Conder - Psychologist

Jacqui is a Psychologist with in-depth experience providing assessment and therapeutic interventions across the lifespan and works with a range of presenting issues including complex mental health presentations. Jacqui has a background in child, youth and family services including child and family therapy, school prevention programs, early intervention, child protection, community education, and out-of-home care. Jacqui is an Accredited Trainer for the Resilience Centre and has experience delivering workshops, group programs, and professional development in this emerging area of positive psychology.

Jacqui enjoys working with clients to meet their goals and improve their mental-health and wellbeing. Jacqui tailors evidenced-based interventions to the needs of the client and family including using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Child-Centred Play Therapy, and attachment/relationship-based approaches. Jacqui has qualifications in Art & Play Applications in Therapy to provide creative and play-based communication with clients of all ages. Jacqui is informed by trauma and attachment research and literature and has enthusiastic interest in Interpersonal Neurobiology as it applies to individual and family functioning. Jacqui is also passionate about Perinatal Mental Health and improving the lives of families and their babies in the early years.
