Every session at Sunshine Coast Psychology Clinic is delivered by a highly trained, qualified clinician. Our team of psychologists and accredited mental health clinicians brings decades of combined experience across a wide range of evidence-based approaches — and a genuine commitment to your progress.
Highly Qualified Clinicians
All our psychologists and occupational therapists are registered with AHPRA, and our Accredited Mental Health Social Worker holds accreditation with the AASW. Many hold specialist endorsements in clinical psychology, reflecting years of additional supervised training and a deep commitment to their craft.
Evidence-Based Practice
We use only therapies with a strong research base — including CBT, ACT, EMDR, Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and more. Treatment is never one-size-fits-all; your clinician will work collaboratively with you to find the approach that best fits your needs, your goals, and your life.

We are a locally owned clinic with deep roots in the Sunshine Coast, operating across Sippy Downs and Maroochydore. We have made a deliberate choice to set our fees well below the APS recommended rate — because we believe that access to quality psychological care should never be determined by financial circumstance.
Our Commitment to Transparency
Many psychology clinics choose not to publish their fees. We do — because we believe you deserve to make an informed decision about your care without any surprises. The fees below are our current standard rates. We review them annually in line with the APS schedule and Medicare rebate adjustments, and we will always communicate any changes in advance.
Our Fees
Standard consultations are 50 minutes in duration. The session fee depends on the clinician you see, as outlined below. Importantly, our fees have been structured so that — regardless of which clinician you see — your out-of-pocket cost after the Medicare rebate remains approximately the same.

Designed So You Pay Approximately the Same — Whoever You See
~$103 Approximate out-of-pocket per session with a Medicare rebateWe have deliberately structured our fees in alignment with the Medicare rebate available for each clinician type. This means that whether you see a Clinical Psychologist, a General Psychologist, or an Accredited Mental Health clinician, your out-of-pocket cost after the Medicare rebate is designed to be approximately the same — within a dollar or two. Our priority is matching you with the right clinician for your needs, not your budget.
A valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP is required to access the Medicare rebate. Please call our office if you have any questions about your entitlements.Payment Information
As a full-fee private clinic, the full session fee is payable at the time of your appointment. We accept EFTPOS at both clinic locations. If you hold a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan, we can process your Medicare rebate on your behalf on the day — meaning your rebate will be paid directly into your nominated bank account within 24 hours.
