Kiana is a provisional psychologist who delivers both assessments and therapy. Kiana’s experience in the field of psychology included working across the lifespan with adults and children alike. Kiana has experience with depression, anxiety, autism, PTSD, ADHD, OCD and general life challenges. She uses a range of therapy approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy.
Kiana’s strengths lie in working therapeutically with both children and adolescents. Kiana takes a compassionate approach to supporting her clients and their emotional, behavioural and psychological growth and development.
Kiana strives to create a non-judgmental, warm environment where individuals feel accepted. She takes a personalised approach to each case and ensures her client’s goals and concerns are at the forefront of their therapy experience.
Kiana has experience with cognitive, diagnostic, functional and personality assessments including WISC, WAIS, WIAT, ADOS, DIVA, NEO, PAI, ABAS and Conners.
