Karen Higgison - Finance Manager and Receptionist
Karen is the team administrator with over 20 years of experience in medical practice administration.
She has had a high-profile career as an Olympic swimmer - winning a silver medal for Australia in the 1984 Olympics as well as a collection of bronze and gold medals from Commonwealth and World Masters games in 1986 and 2009. She currently retains several Australian swimming records.
Married for 32 years with daughters, Karen moved to the Sunshine Coast from Culburra Beach, three hours south of Sydney. Karen says that spending time with her family is the most important part of her life and that she loves the beach life - swimming, surfing and swim training keep her fit.
